The alterations to Marvel’s theatrical schedule were a topic of conversation last week. During the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney announced a few more dates, and the changes reflected that information. Since then, Sony has imitated Marvel by creating its own version of the Spider-Man universe called Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. To be more specific, the studio postponed work on two separate projects.
Before we get to the names, I’m going to make a sardonic observation about the fact that the internet graciously provided some notes. It was The Guardian that provided what is perhaps the best summary. The question “Is It Time to Put Sony’s Spider-Man Universe Out of Its Misery?” is posed as the title of the article.
I’m going to venture a guess and say that Sony isn’t looking for this kind of attention-grabbing headline at all. Even more insulting is the story’s subtitle, which reads as follows: “Sony still maintains rights to the Marvel characters associated to Spider-Man in the comics, but there is little hint that it can make entertaining use of them…”

The public relations crew of Sony is on its way to Morbin’ time! In all seriousness, Disney and Sony need to get together and hash out their differences about this issue. Morbius has become one of those disasters that may bring a franchise’s reputation down for years to come. It’s like Spider-jazz Man’s hands or Batman’s breast suit.
It would seem that the officials at Sony are aware of the hazardous situation their company is in since they are being very cautious with their next two releases.

The development team intended to launch Kraven the Hunter into the market on January 13th, 2023. Instead, Sony is going to hold off on releasing the movie until October 6th. In the entertainment business, nine-month delays are almost never a positive omen. It is probable that Kraven has tested badly, and further filming will be required.
This is just conjecture on my side, although it is informed by covering movies for the last 25 years. I have a strong suspicion that Sony is aware that another fiasco on the magnitude of Morbius would ruin the Spider-verse. On the other hand, Sony devotees and cinema purists could have recognised that the other day. It was the prior date that Madame Web would have been made available.
Additionally, Sony postponed that movie until 2024, when it is expected to make its premiere in February of that year. That’s a delay of four months, which isn’t as surprising as you may think. When studio heads become involved in individual initiatives, the results are almost never favourable. Please keep this in mind. The success that Disney has had with Marvel has increased the amount of pressure that is put on its rivals at Warner Bros. (who are also the owners of DC Comics) and Sony.
The Disney branch of Marvel Studios does not produce subpar motion pictures, but movies like Morbius and Wonder Woman 1984 have inspired a large number of memes. It presents a challenge. Will these delays, which we are experiencing while waiting for Spider-Man: Something Something Home, be able to salvage Sony’s Spider-Man Universe? Daredevil on a Monster Scale
The following is some news that was completely unexpected yet rather pleasant. When it first premieres on Disney+, “Daredevil: Born Again” will include a total of 18 episodes.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the biggest series order that has ever been placed for a Marvel streaming show that features live-action characters. It’s a holdover from the days when network television had 22 episodes every season, although Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has had seasons with that many episodes in the past. We are discussing the content for a period of four months on Disney+. As a result of the scale and depth of the series, it has been difficult to control any leaks that have occurred. There are several insiders reporting different iterations of the same rumours. The first is that Echo will play a significant role in Daredevil, which is something I had already anticipated.
In the comics, their characters have interacted with one another rather regularly. Likewise, Daredevil often engages in conversation with a morally questionable figure who has a home in New York. Yes, it is quite probable that the Punisher will play a significant role in Daredevil: Born Again. And the answer is yes, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role there.
Even though I think it’s too early to accept the reports, I’ve heard from certain sources that Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, may not appear in the next season at all. According to these sources, Ritter is unable to commit to an 18-episode series because she has a schedule constraint that precludes her from doing so. After all, it equates to a period of filming lasting for six months.

I believe that these people have forgotten that talent under contract with Marvel is required to abandon everything and focus on new series and films. Even if Ritter does have a scheduling difficulty, it shouldn’t be difficult for her to find a way to appear in Daredevil. However, you shouldn’t be shocked if it turns out that her part is restricted in the first season of the show.

And now for some background information. The individual who sent the tweet, Jeff Loveness, has now been offered the job of chief writer for the next Marvel film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Even though it’s apparent that he’s kidding, I think it would be awesome if an Avengers movie was crowdfunded.
Loveness’s participation in this coveted role has been previously announced by Marvel. On the other hand, the studio is not finished delegating big tasks just yet. Fantastic Four will now be written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, who were the successful applicants.
In a nutshell, they had been working on the screenplay for quite some time. On the other hand, Disney confirmed their involvement, which indicates that the writer/director group is already in place. This project will be directed by Matt Shakman, who most likely has some suggestions of his own about the plot. Despite this, these three will be the defining members of the First Family’s future generation.

Because Marvel has a habit of giving credit sequences to individuals who aren’t working on the project that’s currently being produced, I trust her.
